Racing the Planet – Patagonia. Race Coverage

On Sunday 12th November, I embark on my next adventure. Joined by Mark Power and 300 other competitors from almost 50 countries, we will run across the Andes in the Racing the Planet: Patagonia 2017 race. A self-supported footrace covering 250km in 6 days. It’s a multi-day race which comprises of a marathon a day for 4 days and then a double marathon (80km) on the 5th day. That leaves a cheeky 10km or so on the last day to get to the overall finish line.

I will be emailing Emma each day via the satellite computer at each overnight camp. She will then update this blog so you can read first hand about the trials and tribulations of running crazy distances in the middle of nowhere!

You can send messages during the race through the Racing the Planet website – click “send an email” next to my name. I’m lucky number 33. (4deserts.com/beyond/patagonia/results
